Language

We design identity systems that bring order to how an organisation presents itself: from the mark and typography to the rules that let a brand grow without losing coherence.

Ask for a quote

A visual identity is the language a brand speaks in every channel. Designed well, it makes an organisation recognisable before its name is read, and every new piece strengthens that effect instead of diluting it.

We don’t design a set of separate elements but a system: mark, typography, colour, grid, use of photography and illustration and, above all, the rules that connect them. It has to be distinctive enough to stand out and flexible enough to serve an annual report, a campaign, an app and wayfinding.

We document it in brand standards that let in-house teams and partners work independently and keep the brand coherent for years.

Consistency as an advantage

Organisations that present themselves consistently are seen as more credible and professional. A coherent system also shortens production and reduces cost, because every new project builds on considered, ready solutions.

Standards that actually work

Brand guidelines shouldn’t end up in a drawer. We design them as a practical tool, with clear rules, examples and templates used by marketing teams, agencies and suppliers.

Systems for complex organisations

We have designed identities for technology and service companies, public institutions, local governments, universities and major events. For organisations with many divisions, products or programmes we also design the brand architecture: the rules between a master brand and its sub-brands.

Questions

How is a visual identity different from a logo?

The logo is one, central element. An identity is the complete system: mark, typography, colour, composition, imagery and the rules that make every piece recognisable as one brand.

How is it priced?

It depends on the complexity of the organisation and the number of applications the system covers. We prepare a staged proposal after discussing your needs.

Can you extend an existing identity?

Yes. We often refine and extend existing systems: adding what’s missing, designing new applications and setting out the rules in brand guidelines.

Do you supervise the roll-out?

Yes. We prepare production files, work with printers and suppliers and, for larger roll-outs, coordinate the whole process.
