We design marks with distinct character and a long life: precise in detail, legible at any scale and rooted in what the brand truly stands for.
A logo is the most condensed form of a brand. In a fraction of a second it must convey character, ambition and quality, while working equally well on a phone screen, in print, in space and in motion. That is why we treat logo design as conceptual and typographic work, not decoration.
Every mark is built from scratch, based on an analysis of the brand and its context. We look for an idea that is true to the organisation and sets it apart, then refine the form: proportion, rhythm, contrast and behaviour at small sizes.
We design the mark with the whole system that will grow from it in mind. A good logo doesn’t need to say everything. It must be the starting point of a coherent identity and stand the test of time.

A mark as a decision, not ornament
Before the first sketch we agree what the mark should communicate and where it will live. Concepts can then be judged against criteria rather than taste, and decisions can be defended to the board, partners and the market.
Precision in detail
Quality lies in things viewers cannot name but feel at once: optical corrections of curves, balanced spacing, how the form holds up as a favicon and on a façade. This is the stage we give the most attention.
A logo built to last a decade
We avoid solutions that only look good today. Changing a logo costs an organisation money and recognition, so we design marks that gain with time instead of ageing.

Questions
Where does logo design start?
With a conversation about the brand, its goals and audience, and an analysis of competitors. If the organisation has no defined strategy yet, we propose a short strategic phase to set the brief.
How is it priced?
It depends on the scope: the mark alone, or the mark with a core identity system. We prepare a proposal after the first conversation.
How long does it take?
Usually four to eight weeks, most of it spent on concept work and refining the chosen direction.
Do you transfer the copyright?
Yes. On completion we transfer the economic copyright for the agreed fields of use, so the mark can be used freely and registered.
Can the logo be part of a larger project?
Yes, and we often recommend it. A mark designed together with the visual identity works within a system from day one, which gives a more coherent and lasting result.
